Hello !

We need a logo for a new conference series on karst hydrogeology. It's a merger between two conference series. One in Spain in Malaga : http://www.cehiuma.uma.es/sika.asp and one that was organized regularly between the universities of Neuchâtel in Switzerland and Besançon in France: e.g. : https://www.sites.google.com/site/h2karst/

The conference will now be rotating every 2 years between Neuchatel (http://www2.unine.ch/chyn), Besançon and Malaga.

The next issue of the conference will be in Neuchatel and we need a logo. The logo will be used to announce the new conference series and the next conference in Neuchâtel.

This will be done in 2 weeks, and ideally we would like to have a preliminary website ready by the end of next week. The site will be hosted at eurokarst.org.

The key words that may give you some ideas are water, springs, europe, karst, carbonate aquifers, caves, speleology.

We have no fixed preconceived ideas about the logo. It should be relatively flexible to be adaptable every 2 years for a new conference to become EuroKarst 2016 / Neuchatel, and then Eurokarst 2018 / Besançon etc....

The logo will be used on the web site, on a flyer to announce the conference, and printed on the proceedings of the conference.

Thanks a lot for your proposals. Now, I wil discuss with my colleagues in the organizing committee of the conference and we will elect the logo that we prefer. It will take a few days. Exactly which name(s), word(s), dates(s) do you want shown with the logo? Or, do you just want a logo without name(s), etc.?

  Hello.The first idea was to base the logo con the EuroKarst name. We could then add the name of the city plus date: e.g. Neuchatel 2016. This would change from one conference to the next. But we are open to any idea.
