Need a logo design for a business that is selling wooden sunglasses. However, the design should not get caught up in "just sunglasses" as the idea is to grow the product offering into other wooden and grain products like leather, etc.

I need a short form and a logo form logo that can be engraved into dense materials like wood easily. The aim is to have an elegant appeal, one that oozes a 'simple yet quality' proposition. The long form logo is to mention 'Wood & Grain' and the short form is going to be the more commonly engraved initials of "W&G". I am more leaning towards a Sans font but also open to the idea of a Serif font. My preference is for the Source Sans Pro or Open Sans font from Google Web Fonts.

Please avoid 3D and plastic looking logos. Preference is for a logo that works on a white background but can also be easily inverted to work along a dark and/or coloured background. A logo that reflects the wood grain characteristics of the products being sold will be ideal.

I have attached some images of what I fancy and how the placement will be on products.

  hi indraDhe, you are on the right track. are you able to submit an image similar to your first image with wood and grain in a single line. So 'wood & grain'. I like the use of the lines you have used on the ampersand sign in submission 6. the laser etching into wood should hopefully show this really well.

unfortunately some logos arent taking into consideration that the image needs to be laser burned into timber so colours, etc wont be showing up and additional graphics wont quite showcase well in the end product. submissions 1 & 6 are towards the right track
