Contest Brief

I'm after a logo for a high end men's fashion label: The Tropical Tie Company. The label sells ties which have tropical prints on them. I want the logo to be representative of an old stately crest, but also incorporate the relaxed nature of the tropics. The ties fuse a professional business environment, with the relaxed notion of having once been on holidays, and that a part of you still is.

The catch is that, the logo will be made into a rubber ink stamp and stamped onto the boxes that the ties come in, and also embroidered onto the label on the back of the ties, so the design needs to be simple enough to be printable in that sense. Because of this, the logo should make sense in a single colour, but I would also like to see the logo in a full colour version as well.

OMG all you want is a logo to stamp on a box and embroidered onto the label of your tie and yet you get your logo on a skyscraper or a glass wall, read the brief people and give the buyer what he wants, not all this mockup crap.
