Hello everyone!

As you can see we have updated to a new design! We would like your input about how we put together a new page.

When you click on the Freelancer logo in the top left corner, what page should it go to? How should that page look?

We think it should maybe go to a page that explains how to get going on freelancer with some basic instructions. What do you think?

Design for us what the page should look like to win $1000!

We are happy with you submitting either:

1) A full mockup of that page with graphic OR
2) A wireframe design (e.g. done with Balsamiq)

I look forward to seeing your designs!

Hy freelancers!
I'm aking for your opinion about my designs in this contest. #29 , #35 , #38 , #39 , #40 , #54 and #56 .Basically it's the same ideea, but it's starting from the simpe page and it's finished with the complex one, in my oppinion.   I mean don't use like ready made bevel and emboss effect ready made gradient ready made styles etc.. create custom your own effects search web 2.0 web design and learn from that.

  your template is nice, but the basic instructions requiredin this default webpage, are too few...and another think, in my opinion, you placed them into the foother section...this page purpose was those basic instructions..i think that it should be placed into the content webpage....sorry if this is not expected review....good luck

This design #72 represents a different concept. A truly new contribution, different from everything else, more risky, and I think it can work very well. I have tried to adapt the original style and colors. The first part of the presentation has been designed very simply but with a very eloquent message, stands out even above the background with shadows in 3D so it arrives instantly, as it is the first thing visitors will see.

The idea is that through Freelancer can fulfill our desires, either getting involved in a project or choosing the person who can help us do it. I adapted this personage who is presented as "Genius of Wishes " quickly, but I imagine it can get a better design according with style of the page and your preferences. The presentation can include a dynamic image that floats in the air with small movements, and the call to action "Make it Happen ! Choose your wish . . . " May appear letter by letter, to giving the feeling that happens in real time.

With almost zero requirements, this project was a blast designing. After sorting through Freelancer's current site, I structured the content to appeal to all target audiences while keeping the high level call to actions prominent. Browsing through the current website, I found it difficult to obtain a clear understanding on how exactly it works. My main goal for the header was to make each step in the process as clear as possible so users could easily grasp it. To reflect each step in the process, I created tabs that cycle through each segment paired with a video or a walk through demo of that particular section. Another thing I wanted to be aware of while designing this template was to shorten the overall height so users wouldn't be overwhelmed with too much information during their first experience.
