Design a Template for a Study Abroad Program Schedule

We would like two sample schedule templates (they are sample schedules of our study abroad programs) that we can edit as we create/modify the schedules. One template would be for our winter program and one would be for our summer program.

We would like the colors and theme to match the brochures we already have for these programs, but the schedules should still have their own style. I am attaching the pdf file of the brochures and our current sample schedule of the winter and the summer program (the schedules are not professionally created and we are looking for a big improvement in the look and feel of the template).

We will use these schedules to present to schools with whom we will work, so we need them to look professional and also to give the impression that the program is both highly educational and very fun. The winter schedule should have a winter theme (snow, etc.) and also a high school theme because the students visit an American high school during their program. The summer schedule should have a summer theme and a general educational theme that shows that the students will be learning during their program (they take English classes and also learn a lot about American culture).

We use Pages as our word processor, and the ideal would be if the schedule were in a template that would allow us to edit it in Pages. We edit the schedules all of the time, so it is very important that we can edit the content (words) of the schedule, and we need to be able to make the length of the schedule range from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Sometimes we will print off the schedules and sometimes we will send electronic files.

We want to clarify that the sample schedule attached is what we are using now, but we do not like it and we are looking for a completely new design. The schedule should be in calendar format like in the sample, but we don't want to keep anything else about it. We want a new design that integrates a schedule into the overall document - not just a header and footer with our current schedule pasted in the middle.

Comments on Entry #2 : The schedule looks fun, which is good, but we need it to have more of an educational look to it and to appeal more to "upper class" people. The parents of our students are highly educated and are looking for an educational and refining experience for their children. For example, the pictures of the skateboarders doesn't appeal to that class of people. In general the feel of the schedule puts too much emphasis on fun and not enough on education.

Overall the entry is professional-looking and nice, but we need these changes to be implemented in order for it to fit with the purposes for which we need it.

  Regarding the editable things - Yes, all texts will be editable, I will provide will a layered PSD file.

Additional Comments on Entry #2 :

We don't want to keep the original schedule as is - we want to take off the clip art and have the schedule integrated into the whole design of the document.

Will this be editable in Pages? It looks as though with the header and the images on the bottom, the total document would take up more space than a regular A4 paper, and I'm wondering if that would cause problems when opening it in Pages.

Entry 1 is not what we are looking for. We need our schedules (that look like calendars and that are attached to the project description) to be put in an editable template that is attractive and makes the program schedule look educational and exciting.
