Contest Brief

I'm looking for creative designers to design 3-5 t-shirt mockups. I want you to be as creative as possible, so I'm not going to limit you to specific categories (I love typography - but nothing beats an image that says what I'm trying to say without having to use words) because I'm just curious what you guys will come up with! Your designs will be based on at least 3 of the following 6 lyric lines and reference the concept "Haunting":

"Now I'm sinking here in the sea. Drowning; the waves they crash in on me. You say 'have a little more faith'. Oh, it's easy for you to say, but it's harder for me to take your word".

"If you'd look inside you'd see what's really killing me, and you'd pray for a saviour too."
(3)
"Still searching for the daylight; running further into the night where all of my fears lie, and I get caught in the undertow, oh, I'm just not ready to let go."
(4)
"It's wearing me down, oh I'm tearing at the seams. This haunting's killing me in my sleep."
(5)
"I just want to break every bone; tear my flesh from me. At least then I'd have something to show for where all my pain comes from. I've been patiently dying day by day, oh, I feel so alone. I just want to break every bone."

"If this is what war looks like, I know that peacetime will be well worth the fight."

The title of my band's upcoming EP is called Haunting, so if you want to try and design an "album tee", you may just find your artwork on the front of our album, along with thanks in the credits inside the album!

The winner of this contest (must submit at least 3 useable t-shirt designs) WILL ALSO RECEIVE:
1. A digital pre-release copy of the album two days in advance of the release date.
2. A physical copy of the album signed by me and the band
3. A copy of your winning t-shirt design sent to you for your portfolio (or to wear around if you like it! haha)!

Like I said before, I don't want to limit your creativity... the only thing that I'll say is that I'm not into any occult symbolism in these designs, and anything extremely distasteful (upon my discretion) will be immediately ruled out. When you're looking at doing Typography for shirts, I'm not opposed to you branching out with fonts... but PLEASE, be tasteful... I know I'm picky, but it's just important for me to develop a brand that is professional in its presentation. :) I am placing a lot of trust in you guys to help me build that! :)

AS REQUESTED: I HAVE UPLOADED A COUPLE EXAMPLES OF TYPOGRAPHY FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WISH TO ATTEMPT TO DO THIS FOR YOUR SHIRT DESIGNS. :)

  Hi there, while your designs are SIGNIFICANTLY more professional looking than nearly every other applicant, what you put forward simply isn't really what I'm looking for... I'm going to try and post some designs of shirts that I quite like, and hopefully that will provide better clarification....

I am going to post a few designs of shirts that I think are more along the lines of what I'm looking for... Hopefully that will clear things up for all of you. At present, I have only seen one design that shows promise, and I REALLY badly want you guys to be successful! So, I'll provide as much clarity as I can! :)
