Contest Brief

Make a website design for IDEASTAPLE.COM where people could share their works, projects and ideas. should have 5 main menus.
1. Home
2. Posts (Or whatever you wanna call it)
3. Current Projects (Or whatever you wanna call it)
4. Ideas (Or whatever you wanna call it)
5. Tour (Or whatever you wanna call it)
6. Help (Or whatever you wanna call it)
-Everything posted on the website should be open to everyone by default except if the user marks it as hidden.
-Everything on the website should be open to the general public to view and like but only registered members can post anything on the website which includes Posts and Current projects and add comments to posts.
-Every one should be able to see all posts except the posts that are marked hidden.

-When Post menu is selected, all already existing research fields are to be arranged in alphabetical order with the possibility of a registered user to add a new field.
-Then when a field is selected, you will find all posts under that field with the possibility of registered user to add a new post.
-To post, the editor should look something like this http://tinypic.com/r/2qjhcw6/8 but with the ability to add files (i.e. the scientific paper for that work and some other files like programming codes or models, etc.) and the ability of the user to make the post private. Design how the view will look like.

-When Current Projects menu is selected, all should be almost like the Post Menu.

-When Ideas menu is selected, all should be almost like the Post Menu also but just for posting ideas. There should be a possibility of making ideas public or personal.

-Tour should be to show the user how to use the website

-Help should look something like this http://tinypic.com/r/jphu7m/8
-There should be a contact us sub menu under the Help menu\
-Home should have a brief background about the website
-Slider for post just like the one above but showing latest 10 Posts

-All the looks, and pictures i showed through the web links are just suggestions. Don't feel limited, you are professionals. the better the website looks the happier client you will have.
-Each registered user should be able to do some common profile editing like profile picture, username, first name, last name , email, change password, etc.
-Each registered user should be able to see a history of his posts and can add to his posts, delete it, or modify it.
-There should be social share buttons on both the home page and on each posts so that people can share the posts the find interesting on social media.
-All posts should have total number of views
-There should be a user page for each registered user where each user can see the news feeds and updates from projects he is part of and also the news feed of ideas or projects in his interest area.
-Keep the design simple, good looking, classy and professional.

I repeat again....... The company have nothing to do with the projects. Just a website for users to show their project, ideas and works to the world. And get people to join, give suggestions, implement their ideas, etc. You can add a project you are working on and ask people to join in. We don't have any project. The projects on the website is owned by the user that posted it. The website is user based. There is no team . The company is just for running the website, maintenance , help, suggestion, contact for advertisers, etc. So no picture of any member of the company. take for example the company that runs stack exchange.com, instagram, etc. And there should be no image for posts.

The website is not for a company trying to get clients. It is more on the Academic side. An academic website where people share their their works to make it available to the public. It should be simple but classy. No much distractions.
