Design a Website Mockup for a Veteran Medical Consulting Company

Contest Brief
I am in need of a mockup for a new website. This website will be for my company, Vet Comp and Pen Medical Consulting, who serves American military veterans who need assistance applying for service related disability claims though veteran's affairs. This website should have a simplistic, minimalistic appearance and be very easy to navigate and locate information. Additionally, the website is for military veterans and should have a look and feel the appeals to them. This would include militaristic themes and the colors of the American flag (red, white, and blue).
Several files are attached:
Mockup_WireFrame_Freelancer_Version.ai - The wireframe showing the elements laid out on the page.
Descriptive_WireFrame_Freelancer_Version.ai - The same wireframe but with notes, annotations, and comments that should help to describe the elements as well as the desired look and feel of the site. This file also has links to several sites we like that have the overall look we would like to see.
Temp Logo.png - This is the company logo that can be used in the mockup for the webpage. This will not be the official logo, but is the temporary one currently in use.
Main Image.jpg - This is the image we would like as the main focal point of the page. It will be the first thing someone see when they enter the webpage (feel free to find a better resolution version if needed).

The testimonial section will still have the information outlined in the original document. You do not need to include that level of detail in the design, it will be text we will add in later.

Hello, In your initial brief there were some points that have nothing to do anymore to your latest doc. For example in the testimonials section you was asking for each individual's testimonial a small description like name location and the person's email. Do we still need to follow those small details or just rely on your latest document??

Thank you everyone who submitted so far, all your ideas are great! Please look at the file, review these notes and try to create a page with the look and feel of these elements and styles I like. One final note, when a user goes to the page they should see the following elements on the screen without needing to scroll, the banner, the main image, the testimonials, and the “Tell Us Who You Are”. 3/4

Please note the titles of each of the sections (the fifth section is titled "Special Projects" and referenced the videos section of the page). This is what the "Tell Us Who You Are" should be. My apologies for not making that clear earlier. We want to know who you are in relation to a disability claim case, not necessarily what branch you served in. The testimonials section should have the text block next to the person's face. I am thinking the developed concept would have 10+ groups of three people each that would fade in/out and change every few seconds (think a rotating header image with the dots below it to represent multiple images). 3/4

Please notice the banner at the top with the flag in the background as well as in the background of the section "Tell Us Who You Are". The colors as well are great. Notice the version of the "All Gave Some Some Gave All" Really like the use of color here in making it unique. Another option to this would be using the crest of each branch and doing a scheme with them in silver. That would like nice as well. Next, content sections. I really liked the use of the faded images behind the text, particularly the ones of the people. I would like to see this in the final version and would like each branch to be represented as outlined in the document. Army will be at the bottom and should span over the entire bottom section for the videos. 2/4

All, please see the new file attached to the contest... Website WireFrame - best of all submissions.docx ...I spent some time reviewing the current entries and pulled components for each one myself and my team really liked. Hopefully this will provide some more definitive direction for everyone. 1/4

Your website will also have the menu bar? Will you do more page, or just a landing page?

At this moment the bar at the top of the wireframe is to display the company logo, social media tickers, and a single button to pull up a contact form. In the future additional buttons will be added as our services expand, but for now we are going with a single page concept that will link out to landing pages. Ideally the bar would remain fixed at the top of the browser while the user scrolls down the page. So the designs should be spaced well that the bar does not impede the readability of the content on the page. Thanks!

Maaz, please review the requirements in the brief and on the wireframe. Your submission needs to be a mockup of what our website would look like (minus the actual content). Sticking a logo on a template is not what I am looking for. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback on the guarantee - we've added the guarantee to the project.
Please take the time to closely review all of the specs provided in the project description. We are looking for a simple and clean webpage - apple.com etc. NOT super busy. Thanks for your efforts and look forward to finding a freelancer to use for many other websites in the future!- 10 years ago
