Hi there

I have a website already up and running, and need someone to help me improve the MAIN PAGE to have content better displayed.

Design is 80% done, all work that is left is looking at it with a different eye, finding ways to improve location of items and making it look awesome.

The current main page layout looks nice and works, however it needs to be improved in order to make user experience better. Currently it’s difficult to navigate through the different areas and find content. I want it to be easy to see everything from the front page, as well as to create the design for a few other pages.

All new design should to follow the same style of the current layout, just improved.

Some ideas of what I would like:

- One of the grey columns should disappear to make it 2 columns rather than 3, so white area can be enlarged.
- Within the white area, now wider, different blocks should segment types of contents. Each block will show one article for that area in bigger size and others smaller. E.g. a block for “The project” showing articles related to the project, first one being bigger and then the older ones smaller. Other segments are “Vanda the van” – for posts about the car, “Videos”, “Photos” and “Trip Journal”. Blocks should be visually appealing.
- I am attaching a draft I made previously for reference, you can compare the draft to the existing website and it should clarify the ideas.

Should you be successful I will be hiring you continuously to work with me. So then again, my main requirement is for someone with GREAT designer skills.
