Contest Brief

We need a really cool back to school advertisement created ASAP. Our ad will feature a bunch of Top 5 lists for back to school. So you could call it Back-To-School Top 5's! Or Your Back-To-School Top 5's! Whatever you feel. The background should be school inspired so chalk board or school in the background, kids anything be creative.

Text to include

Top 5 Pranks to play on your teacher
1. Switch names with all your friends (works best with new teachers)
2. Hide all of the chalk before your teacher gets there
3. Pass a note around that says “Isn’t learning fun!” and make sure your teacher sees you!
4. Ask permission for EVERYTHING! Get your who class in on it and it will drive your teacher crazy!
5. When you walk into the room, run up to the teacher and stare at her/him. Say nothing, they’ll wonder whats wrong with you!

Top 5 Must Haves
1. Indoor Shoes- These keep the school clean and prolong the life of your outdoor shoes as well.
2. Cold packs- Your perishable lunch will stay nice and cool in your locker or backpack.
3. Reusable food containers- Never eat a smushed sandwich or grapes again.
4. Gym clothes- Make it easier to move around and keeps daily clothes smelling fresh.
5. Backpack- Should be large enough to hold all your stuff but not so big it knocks you over.

Top 5 Classroom Essentials
1. White erasers- Those pink ones smudge pencil and rip your paper.
2. Pencil crayons- Much neater than marker and don't go through to the back of the page.
3. Ruler- Great for measuring, underlining and as a scissor substitute to tear your paper.
4. Dry Line White Out- Just like Liquid Paper but no waiting for it to dry.
5. Thin black marker- Makes any art project or diagram appear much more professional.

Top 5 To-do’s Before School Starts
1. Label jackets & shoes- So that when they are left outside at recess or kicked down the hall "by mistake", the finder knows where to return them.
2. Practice tying laces- Changing between indoor and outdoor shoes multiple times a day means this has to be done quickly.
3. Practice eating lunch with a time limit- Eating time is usually only about 15 minutes, so encourage less talking and more eating.
4. Time your walk to school- You wouldn't want to be late.
5. Start going to bed earlier- This makes earlier wake up times less of a struggle.

Top 5 Lunch Ideas
1. Leftovers from the night before- Reheat in the morning, put into a thermos and they will stay hot until lunchtime. Pastas, soups, rice and stir fry all reheat well.
2. Cookie cutter sandwiches- Make your sandwich and then use a large cookie or sandwich cutter to cut it into creative shapes.
3. Tortilla roll-ups- Spread cream cheese on the tortilla, add ground meat or deli meat, shredded cheese and lettuce and roll.
4. Lettuce Wraps- Same idea as a tortilla roll-up, but use large leaf lettuce instead of a tortilla.
5. Build your own Lunchable- Include your favourite crackers, meats and cheeses for a fun design-your-own creation.
