  Hi I have not gave up on this contest as winner is guaranteed. I am closely monitoring the contest however trying to rate in iPhone is really pain in the ass.

  Hi there. I know exactly what you mean. I have the same problem with the freelancer pages crashing on my iPhone every time I try to write something. ...and today I was not at my computer until now, so we lost a lot of time.
  
  I cannot guarantee that I will be able to invent a fresh new logo, given there are only 9 hours left before closing of contest. Designing on the computer goes fast - it's the creative part that can take long, the imaging of what the logo should look like, knowing that I am facing increased limitations, since you are not too sold on the idea of the bar code and the fact that somehow a white background has become a requirement.
  
  The company name is already not the easiest one to design for - it does'n suggest anything that could be visually interesting, other than the classic visuals that everyone has already done before you. So to come up with something original and great looking (while a ticking clock is running out) will be difficult.
  
  I'll see what I can do....

I find it difficult to attract quality entry by hosting contest, lots of people just trying their luck and hope for quick money. Embarrass those designer who really work hard

#51 new concept: technology is advancing. More and more vouchers come with barcodes and get scanned at the check in. Why not use the barcode concept on the voucher icon?

  The reason why I didn't give a fix guideline is that I am expecting more creative entries, for example tq for submitting new design but u may see you font are limited to what I mentioned earlier, if you don't mind, please submit maybe 2-3 totally fresh new look design. And most like u are the most responsive contestant.

I have not received any reaction or suggestion from you regarding the unfortunate coincidence between my design and the one for Smashing Magazine.
My goal is to give you a unique logo, therefore I will have to withdraw my entries and hopefully come up with a new fresh concept still on time.

@jeremybritz and everyone else,
Please continue to report any similarities you might find. The idea of creating a brand image for a client, without being aware that the concept already exists, is a quite frightening thought. So I gladly welcome all your reports. Thank you.

Hi,
Could you provide some guidelines? Link to the website is not working. So we have no idea of your style/taste.
If your site is under construction, can you post a couple of links to other sites that you like?
Also, can you give some examples of launcher icons that you like.
Think of the design universe as being a galaxy full of stars, all of them being unique. One can't just say "I want a star like that one" while pointing to the entire galaxy.

  AnaCZ. The website is currently under constructions. It is be a hotel booking website, similar website are agoda.com, booking.com, expedia.com, asiarooms.com. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide a color or style guideline as i believe this will limit the creativeness. I am expecting to use back the same color as corporate theme for all future design too. However, you may narrow down your design, something not too complex, not funky, not graffiti, dont use more than 4 colors. Prefer to play with some symbolic icon and typo
