We are looking for someone who can do some banner designing for our website.

It has to be someone who can speak fluid English, that is professional and understanding when it comes to designing. This is a test case, the winner will become our main partner for designing banners and promo materials.

This case is for a homepage banner with an action of the week. We will need the chosen banner in .JPG AND in .PSD, so we can edit the image every week for the new product of the week.

We have a webshop that sells design glasses of all the big Designers, we have the following requirements;
• Is has to look fancy
• It has to look like a great bargain (it will be cheaper sold than anywhere else for one week)
• There has to be room for the glasses to change them easily(on a layer in photoshop)
• There has to be a place for the price of the glasses
• It has to fit on our website, so the layout has to be similar to our website(http://www.weboptiek.be/).
• There needs to be a line: “Glass of the week” preferably => “Bril van de week” (in Dutch)
• We will choose the banner that suits best.
• Again: the file has to be delivered in .psd AND .jpg(or .png) format.
• Size: 462px / 338px

For the winner, the next assignments will follow quickly.

It was not easy, but I have chosen a winner. The winning design goes to amitroy777 with banner 73. The second place goes to stniavla, and the third place, for a lack of creativity goes to creativework07, your best design is very good, but it resembles too much to the one that amitroy made.

When I see my boss Monday 06/01/2014 I’ll ask if I can buy your designs as well for testing. So keep the designs you made, you might get paid for it as well.

  By legit bargain I mean that it should look like a one-time opportunity to buy the glasses presented because of the low price. So that the person that wants those glasses can see in one second that he/she should buy it. This without a doubt that the website is good for it, or without thinking there’s a catch.

  I think it's good, clean and simple. All the desired information is present and the design is ok. It just looks good, but is not spectacular or amazing. It’s not that is should be, but it looks like it’s professional and rather normal that the glasses have that price. The colors might be a bit to monotone, but I think even with some color changes this design can’t be made much better. Maybe you should try something new, or try to change the button with “laagste prijs garantie” to an eye catcher, maybe changing the color of the surrounding circle to red or something would be enough. Softened corners might be an advantage as well. It’s hard to give you good advice on your banner, it’s good as it is, just not that spectacular.

  Nice, it's almost perfect, you should change the word “garantie” to “gegarandeerd “(than the button is grammatically correct), and maybe make it a little bit smaller. If you do so, you will get the first 5 star rating. Just for asking; the file can be delivered in .psd right? Everything will be easy adjustable?(glasses, price, text,..?)

  Ok i will do them as soon as i get home. The delivered file is psd. Every text is editable. Everything is easy to adjust. No cropping photo, but the background of the glasses must be white or light gray.

  @ iconwebservices: I like your banner as well, but it needs some more body, it needs to be one banner in staid of some nice parts. Maybe a nice background color/effect would help. The normal price corrected seems a nice extra, and maybe the lowest price guarantied in a button kind of way, in staid of the designer logo’s, maybe soft corners as well.

@ stniavia: Nice of you to ask, I like the design, it's almost perfect, but maybe the "laagste prijs garantie" should be more in a stamp, logo kind of way. (look for "laagste prijsgarantie" in Google images, and you will see what I mean.) Something catchy that really looks like a legit bargain..

Great job to all, thanks for posting! I feel there’s potential here, but I would love to see the bargain a bit more. I should have mentioned this before, but the glasses presented will have a “lowest price guaranteed!” feature (in Dutch: “Laagste prijs garantie!”) . You don’t have to mention it, but you can. So I like the clean and simple design, but I’d like it with more of a bargain look and feel.

@ Ponchu: It's not that I don't like your design, it just doesn’t fit the assignment, the glasses have to be easy adjustable, in your suggestions this is not possible.

@ Autenthicweb: I could upload some images, but the ones I have are the ones posted on the webpage(www.weboptiek.be). If you like quality images, search for Ray Ban, Lazer, Oakley, Silhouette,.. on Google, you will find plenty of good images.
