Contest Brief

For a web-application we need four buttons. We want to replace the standard radio buttons.

These buttons are for rating a quality with the following levels.
- good
- medium
- bad
- not applicable

Each button has to contain of a unique character, like "+" for good , "o" (circle) for medium, "-" for bad and "/" for not applicable. This is because of users, who may be color blind.

The buttons must have the following base color: green for good , yellow for medium, red for bad and grey for not applicable. This for a easy visual identification of the button purpose.

Two images are necessary for each button, one for unpressed and one for pressed. The two images need to have a good visual difference so that the pressed-status can be recognized precise and obvious.

The shape of the buttons is up to the designer. The graphical design should be some kind of iOS crisp. Any glossy, shiny or other effects are up to the designer.

Please care about a high contrast between pressed and unpressed status. The contrast must be high enough, that it can be seen also on e.g. a tablet under bad light conditions.
