Contest Brief

I want a product designed for a mechanical wine decanting device that is designed to have a bird inspiration. I am attaching a few pictures to show what a basic mechanical wine decanting device looks like. It should be semi-modern in appearance (gloss aluminum or stainless steel). It should be tall enough to allow a large wine glass to sit under the bottle end that is lowered by the mechanical device. I am also attaching a picture of a menorah that I like the general feel of the design for inspiration.

The mechanical device should be a handle-based screw that allows the bottle to very slowly and very smoothly tilt downward and allow wine to very slowly pour out of the bottle from the cradle. Having a candle holder is optional but would be appreciated if integrated into the design nicely.

The machine should be able to handle a 750ml bottle of either standard size (e.g., bordeaux) and a slightly larger base bottle often used for burgundy wine.
