Contest Brief

Name:
Cloud nine.
A little cheesecake company.
• a small local artisan company that creates a variety of little sweet & savory cheesecakes served in glass 125ml mason jars.
• The overall concept is handmade decadent desserts & spreads containing locally sourced & organic ingredients. We encourage a recycling program and pride ourselves in fostering a socially responsible company and community.
• The next phase of expansion is opening a cafe style store front that would reflect the product & brand. We will be a boutique style cafe that embodies decadent, handmade, boutique, soft, lace, pretty, floral, vintage, fun, nostalgic & trendy.
For the logo:
• I like the idea of having a cloud 'bubble' on as opposed to the actual word 'cloud' but am open to interpretation.
• Visually my preference is a palette that will consist of creams, whites & grays with an accent color of a light teal/turquoise.
• I like the idea of having all lower case letters

Audience:
My primary focus is made-to-order corporate functions & weddings with the target audience being 30-40 year old females.
For collateral:
• I'd love a double sided card with just the Business name (and second line) with my information on the back.
• The packaging, along with the little mason jars, will be small boxes with tissue paper (recycled) and a jute or twine like material for fastening tags and will eventually incorporate the business card information to a 2.5”ø disk-like label for the tops of the jars.

**Looking for a contemporary & clean design (not so cutesy!) and would like to avoid having pictures of cupcakes (we do cheesecakes!)

feel free to remove cloud and use the word 'cloud.' I will reiterate that I really would like to see all lower case letters; a more structured font for the hard lined cards and a pretty flowing font for the vintage looking cards.. no cupcake photos please! and if anyone has a way to incorporate a more flowing, pretty kind of cloud that would be awesome!

Thanks for the entries so far guys! Not what I'm looking for just yet. A little too cheesy (no pun intended) and cute. I removed the color pallet as that isn't really the focus, only a suggestion. Looking for something a little more eloquent, mature. Thanks! -C
