***UPDATE***
The entries are good so far. After some thought and testing, I am leaning towards using the 'infinity icon-looking S' with the name under or surrounding the icon in a font (as seen in file below).
I would like to see if anyone can provide slight tweaks to the symbol to make it cleaner or pop more. The symbol can be found in the 'UPDATE SA Logo' illustrator file attached

Original Request:
Looking for logo for personal portfolio website. It should be based around my initials (SA).
What I like:
- Bold
- Sharp
- Uppercase
- Parts of letters missing to fit together / Visual relationship between letters
- Black/White
*The design labeled 'This is my favorite' on uploaded image is very close to what I like.
Maybe's:
- Infinity symbol rotated
- Simple
- Cursive/script
- Slight gradient
- Symmetry
- Incorporate full name 'Sterling Adgate'
- Stamps and Crests (official looking)
What I don't like:
- Complex
- Multi-color
- drop shadows
