Contest Brief

The Albiez Trio is an Traditional Irish music band. The 3 musicians respectively playing the fiddle (violin), the harp and the whistles first got together, as an ensemble, at the `Celticimes music festival in Albiez, in the French Alps in July 2014 (pics of the village in the attachment). With such a varied background their music has many personal, self-penned contributions with world colourings from many regions. The emotion of the moment sets this trio alight in a very contemplative, evocative way. They need a logo for communication purpose. They had this idea of gravitating towards 'Albiez' being in one colour and 'Trio' being in another colour - simple and yet all subject to the right (sized) font - also perhaps a simple image of the Alps underneath both words. But the mountains don't really work.

So any original design is more than welcome!!! They like the idea of their silhouette though as background.
