Ringkasan Peraduan

We need our wedding invitations designed. We want to tell a story with our pictures. What we need is someone with a designer's eye to resize, crop or whatever else is needed to make them the best invitations ever! Feel free to use whatever artistic effects and fonts that you think will make these look the most awesome!

The pictures will be printed on 5x7 paper (landscape) so that aspect ratio and quality is a must. The winner will send the high quality files to the contest holder once they are chosen.

picture1.jpg (the train station one) we want the caption "Once upon a time, there was a princess..." It's your choice on font/size/placement etc... Heck, that's what this contest is about!

picture2.jpg will have the caption "...everybody told her unicorns and true love were just fairy tales..."

picture3.jpg is easy, there is NO caption, we just need it resized/cropped to whatever you think looks best. Please make sure that the word 'Houston' is not cropped out and visible in the picture

For picture4.jpg the caption will be "Welcome to the fairy tale!!!".

Finally, we will need a file with the same aspect ratio with the following text (again, font, color, background etc, is up to you!):

To be held at Avant Garden in Houston, Texas on April 12, 2014 at 5pm

I think it may help with design decisions to know that we feel like the girl and the man-unicorn are the primary characters of the photo story. I'd suggest leaving additional characters (other unicorns, cupids, etc) out to help the focus remain on the princess and the man. We are going for a very hip/urban/contemporary/fun type of feel, moreso than the traditional fairy tale feel as far as the visual impression. We like the contrast of the fairy tale story visually told in an urban way.

I made a spelling mistake on the cover. I removed the top right butterfly and fixed the error.

I thought this through, and discussed it with my wife. We just do not think 5 images work well. When you open the flap, the folded up page, would just be weird with something on it, so I went with a cover, and 3 screens on the inside.

Just some information:
The printer will charge extra for doing the layout. (putting the images in the correct orientation)
What I am doing, will save you time and money. I am doing a complete layout on 7x15
If you choose mine, I will have a couple questions you will need to ask the printer, but that is all.
I will deliver a PDF, ready to hand to the printer. It will be ready to print immediately.

It will be separate .jpg files for each of the 5 pages. We will take these 5 files and send them to a printer to print on a trifold card.
