Contest Brief

I am setting up my own consultancy in my own name - Alex Kotsos. The work I do is all about people and currently that's the strapline for my business: "all about people".

I provide training, coaching, workshops and team building, to individuals, teams and organisations to enable them to become the best they can be. It's all about identifying potential and acting on it so that high performance, engagement, positivity and productivity can be achieved. Everything I do is centred in positive psychology and therefore is an enjoyable and positive experience for all involved.

I am looking for a logo that I can use in my business - both on the website, on business cards and other company information. I would like something simple yet unique that conveys the idea of positivity and feels personal. My interactions with my clients involve a lot of trust and I need something that indicates that I have a personal approachable friendly style. I want someone to create a logo, business card design ideas and corporate brand guidelines. At this contest stage I'm looking for someone to just create a logo. Once this is selected I will then use the same person to help design and create other corporate material over the next few months.

All the logos created so far are based on my name or initials and look too corporate. From the entries so far there is nothing that really stands out as unique or personal. I need something that's more special. Have a look at the attached logo that is part of my Mumager business. I don't want a cartoon for my own business but something that is more personal and reflects that I work with people. I have also attached the logo of a colleague of mine who is in the same business - it's unique yet personal.

You can also see one of the other companies I run at www.mumager.ie You will see from the website that the styles/colours are all in line with the logo. This is what I want from my own corporate identity.
