Contest Brief

A name and logo initially and eventually url and website for an electrical power system analytic software suite. The software will be in subsections of an overall software solution described by power system components. For example the overall system would be the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power. The subsections would be transformers, cables, circuit breakers etc.
The power of the software will be its capability to draw copious amounts of data from off line and on line diagnostics and utilizing advanced algorithims be able to analyze and report on equipment condition and reliability based on condition and risk to operations in event of failure. The software will also be able to define recommended maintenance or steps to prevent failure or loss prior to an event. All manner of hardware diagnostic equipment will be the feed for these calculations.
We feel it advantageous to incorporate directly or in an abstract manner a traffic light signal into the name and/or logo. The traffic light is the easily understood man machine interface that describes, in simple terms, the condition of the equipment. Green = GOOD Yellow = PROBLEMATIC Red = DANGER
We have included a short power point on the project to assist in your preparation of a name and logo.

I would like to clarify we need a name and logo...CBM stands for Condition Based Maintenance...it is an industry accepted abbreviation such as RBM Risk Based Maintenance or PM Predictive Maintenance....our name must be unique.
