We've got an office building which we need the facade (face) redesigned - alucobond is our material of choice for the facade in which the building will be covered with along with glass windows; the colors are not yet finalized, but we are looking for something subtle, unique and this needs to look like a professional office building.

The idea we've got in mind is to raise the building facade so that it looks like a 2-story building throughout, the top floor facade will be bordered with the alucobond material with openings inside (like window openings) which will be filled with outdoor-type advertisements. We would like the outdoor ads to be lit with projector lights projecting from in front of the building.

There is also a side opening to our neighbors which we would like to also cover with Alucobond and place our showroom name with the brand of equipment we sell underneath the showroom name.

I've attached photos of the idea and design we have in mind drafted with very poor photoshop skills. We would like to see this idea modified, maybe even some ideas that are completely different - the most important thing is we need to make sure the design is simple, slick, attractive and represents the image of a successful office building.

Please note, we have extremely high expectation and standards and hope to get some out of the ordinary designs, cost is not really much of an issue, but we really don't want to end up getting our same design in 3d rendering - this something we came up with ourselves and we find ourselves to be extremely lacking in creativity and expect much more from professionals.

Please note, we expect some legible 3D rendered designs.... if you would like to simply draft an initial design and then propose the same design in 3D-rendering if we find it unique, also feel free to - we are open to suggestions and would like to work together in finalizing this matter.

***Important to note, it's important to avoid too much details as this will push us far from our aim of a concept with simplicity + will significantly increase costs of materials/labor.

Please note, I've attached a photo with the dimensions of the building, the heights are not recorded, but the height of one floor is about 3.5m, we're hoping to go 7-8m for overall height with our new concept/design.

***Also for the fence surrounding the land (slab concrete floor - where sample units of heavy machinery will be displayed) can be either a low iron fence or a see-through glass fence as attached in below photos.

For the top of the building to boarder it we can use a different color of ACP, or alternatively we can place suspended canopies maybe - as shown in some of the photos.... just some ideas, again we are open for other creative suggestions - but again keep in mind we don't want to go too far in costs of materials...

First I'd like to apologize to everyone as we had to attend some important international meetings with our suppliers. Second, #64 - I'm preparing to award to you, can you submit some other color combos as well as alternative, I love these colors but they may not be available.... Navy blue/grey/silver/black/white/yellow... are some of the colors avaiable in our market - I can send you a color palette if necessary.... but think of another color combo on this same design and show me. Also do you know the amount of ACP needed for this design in sqm, + amount of window space + amount of billboard space (so we can accurately calculate costs).

  There are 3 designs we really like, I'm waiting for my construction guy to say how logical they are in reality and will award after I get a clear answer. Maybe in a few days and hopefully sooner than later. We are always willing to entertain new designs until we close the contest so it's up to you if you'd like to submit. There were 2 new submissions and I really liked one of them to be honest which I will be reviewing with my team.

Prakky, sorry we're checking with some of our construction contractor about realistically executing some of these, I will comment on the new designs soon + I will award to contract for sure, check our past performance and that'll give you extra confidence. I've just been super busy with some of our other business and unable to attend here - I will try to finalize things very soon, there are a few designs I really love and quite likely we will go with one of these.

  Most important thing is your design should be easy to execute... but in the end of the day some effect that gives the design extra character - some examples are #28 #18 #41 and some more... but some good references to understand what we mean by extra character :) again thanks and look forward to seeing some more from you

  I really liked both your designs, but in both renderings the main entrance should be on the left hand corner, so pushed a bit more to the left, I liked the first design #18 far more for sure - something to that effect would certainly be a preference.

  Again, one of those designs we really loved. I simply want to know the implementation and how tough it will be to implement, what kind of materials are used. Please take into mind that we need to place the old windows above the new ones. Functionality of this design is critical as we want them to turn out just as we've seen in your desings.

  Hi. There is not much difference in ACP and anodized aluminium. Basically anodizing is a chemical process which makes aluminium scratch less membrane. Anodizing enhances the characteristics of aluminium i.e.
  •Durability – long life span, will not wear out under normal use
  •Ease of Maintenance – highly resistant to scratches and wear, cleans easily with mild detergent and water
  •Aesthetics – offers a large number of gloss and color alternatives
  •Cost – lower finishing cost, lower maintenance costs
  •More insulation
  
  Not a big difference in rates. $4-$18 per square meter depends on quality .
