Football Fixture Design Contest

The contest is to design a single full page template for a Premier League football fixture that should be lively, vibrant and football themed.

The page will become a template for the 20 Premier League football teams that will all share exactly the same design (all text and images will ultimately be defined dynamically) based on the teams.

The page needs to be fully branded with the colours of the football team playing and should be designed to invoke the passion that a football supporter feels when their team scores a goal.

The purpose of the page will be to get visitors (football supporters) to enter their details and opt in to receive free football betting tips for the football team they support.

The visitor should feel more like they are on their own football teams website with branding the visitor is accustomed to (their clubs name, background, club crest, colours, shirts, images, etc.)

Only 1 template design is required, but 2 pages need to showcase the design for Arsenal and Chelsea. For example, the Arsenal Vs Chelsea fixture will generate 2 pages:

- An ‘Arsenal’ page that encourages Arsenal supporters to complete the opt in form offering ‘Arsenal Betting Tips’ for the Arsenal Vs Chelsea Football Match themed with Arsenal colours and images

- A ‘Chelsea’ page that encourages Chelsea supporters to complete the opt in form offering ‘Chelsea Betting Tips’ for the Arsenal Vs Chelsea Football Match themed with Chelsea colours and images

Text or information that shouldcan be incorporated into the design:

- Arsenal Vs Chelsea
- Stadium where game is being played (Emirates Stadium)
- Date & Kick Off Time
- Competition Name (Premier League)
- Opt-in Form (Name, Email, Mobile, Submit)

Imagesfields that can be used:

- Any images required (e.g. ArsenalBackgroundImage.jpg, ChelseaBackgroundImage.jpg)
- Club Crest (Google image search ‘Chelsea Club Crest’ or ‘Arsenal Club Crest’)
- Football Shirt
- Etc.

Any images can be used as long as they are available for all 20 football teams (i.e. don’t use a bespoke image for Arsenal where a substitute image cannot be found easily for the 19 other Premier League teams). Obviously club crests, background images, etc. are easily found.

Where colours are used it should be possible to dynamically substitute HEX colour values (i.e. #FFFFFF) for other teams.

The page will need to be converted into a Wordpress template predominantly using CSS. The page will ideally be a full page design that will also scale to different screen sizes and ideally automatically scale for mobile devices.

The contest is to provide a design for the page, and the winner will be required to implement the design as a Wordpress theme.

Navigation is required as the accepted design will become the template for the site, although I re-iterate the purpose of the site is to make fans of a football club fill in an opt-in form to receive betting tips for their team.

Non-team specific pages (i.e. Home Page, Select Your Team, Further Information) will share the same designtemplate but with a generic background and maybe some sections will be left blank (i.e. where a team name will be written)

Here are 2 very early concepts and a link to the site (basically blank Wordpress site). I didn't provide these originally because I am after individual ideas and fresh designs, but maybe they help explain requirements.

Have you logo or color theme ? have you any example site ? I mean need concept or which type of content you want to use ... then good for me .... color theme is impotent...

  I do not have a logo. The important thing is for a fan to feel like they are on their teams website. Where the logo normally goes (top left) I would prefer to have a team badge or crest - it all depends on your design. Hi,
does the main page have to list all incoming football matches (For example this week incoming matches) and if a visitor click on a football team he will visit the team page?
Or the main page is only for a single match like Arsenal Vs Chelsea?
Just to understand better your project.

  Yes that is essentially what happens. There will be a list of teams on the main page and clicking the team will take you to a page that shows that teams next upcoming fixture that will then be branded and ask the user to opt in and request the tips as per the project brief.
  
  However almost all visitors will 'land' on the team page and not the home page. As long as the Wordpress Custom Fields are completed for the team in question (i.e. paths to files, colours, team name, etc.) the page will automatically be updated for any team (I am fine setting this up - just not a great designer!)
  
  Initially there will be 20 teams (English Premier League), however next up will be the World Cup teams (further 32 teams) and then probably additional leagues (Spanish, French, German, etc.). Hence the design is a template using Arsenal Vs Chelsea as sample data.
