I am looking for a Game Background for my 2D Fighting game.
The background theme should be a gladiator coliseum.

Entities
- Pillars
- Pillars with Spikes
- Wooden Boxes
- Barrels
- Stair Cases
- A stone Bridge
- A Waterfall
- Anything else that can be added to the arena (obstacles, an audience)
- Entities can be animated, but they will need to be seperate layers that can be exported as sprites into seperate image files.

The game features a scrolling background that will follow the players character (the game screen will always be centered on the character). So do not worry about Width (the background should be 3x as wide as the attached image file).

Also, as the character moves closer to the screen he gets larger, as he moves into the screen he becomes smaller. - You should follow this type of depth perception when developing the background. The attached image is a decent example (this is also the Character that we are using).

I also want stairs that lead up onto a second platform/height level.

There can even be Walls that characters can go behind (this layer will appear transparent for the player who is behind it, but other players won't be able to see them unless they are behind the wall as well).

It needs to be a good High Quality image, with many features that will facilitate gameplay. I'm not sure where a Waterfall would fit in this theme, but we want one (if possible!). I also had an idea for placing the bridge over the waterfall. Lots can be done with the concept, I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Is the attached example one of your own? Or is it sampled from another game? If it's not yours, could we possibly see your character to get an idea of the art style already present?
