We are a startup company and the purpose of this contest is to source ideas for our game and a basic GDD (game design document) for a ios and android game.

SUMMARY GUIDELINES:
Mobile/Tablet Zombie Kill game for ios and android. Players kill the Zombies with “cutting type weapons” for example Katana, Sword, Hatchet, Machete, etc. the only weapons will be Cutting type weapons, every other aspect of the game is open to your ideas.

We are looking for ideas which are attractive to a modern audience; an idea which can be developed into an appealing game. You can submit your game ideas which are brand new, or if you feel a current app on the app store is old and needs a refurbish, you can submit an app idea which relates to an already made app (in this case, please provide a link to the app which you are referring to on the app store). If an app currently exists on the Google Play store but not on the Apple App Store, you can provide this information to us also or vice versa (in this case, please provide a link to the specific Google Play app or specific Apple App Store app).

At this stage we simply require the ideas and a basic GDD (game design document)!

HOW WILL YOUR IDEAS BE SELECTED?

After our review of all the ideas and basic GDD's freelancers provide, we will choose a top idea which will receive a prize of $50! with a possible bonus of $50 if the idea is very good!

Example GDD templates are attached below, we are looking for a basic GDD (Game Design Document) so you may come up with your own if you prefer.

You must release all rights to the ideas and GDD to us.

We guarantee to award the best ideas and our previous feedback on freelancer reflects this. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions relating to this contest or any ideas you may have. We will commit to try our best at answering questions on the "Public Message Board" and also on the "Private Message Boards" between individual freelancers.

  Hi, This contest is for ideas (as long as they meet the guidelines above) and Basic GDD (game design document) only. That is all that needs to be done at this time. Once we get the final idea done then we will move on to the next steps and start a project for graphics and game development.

You can sketch your ideas if feel that would be helpful, but that is not required. You can just write them in a doc. If you prefer.
