Contest Brief

What was your aspiration when you were a kid?

We are making playhouses for children age 3-6 to stimulate their imagination through role-playing.
We need four (4) graphic patterns with the following themes:

#1: Theater structure for GIRLS. The theme is SINGER/CELEBRITY.
Artwork must include graphics of two pcs of accessories: singing mic, big camera, or other items as you see fit for the theme.

#2: Theater structure for BOYS. The theme is MAGICIAN.
Artwork must include graphics of two pcs of accessories: magic stick, magic bag, or other items suitable for role-playing as magicians.

#3: House structure for GIRLS. The theme is RANCH.
Artwork must include graphics of two pcs of accessories: animals (horse/sheep/cattle etc.), animal food (carrot/corn, etc.), or other items suitable for role-playing.

#4: Tall House structure for BOYS. The theme is SPACE SHUTTLE.
Artwork must include graphics of two wings for the space shuttle.

Your designs should be cheerful, vibrant, and not too abstract.

See attached die-cut lines for sizing and other images for reference info.

Deliverables:
Artworks in vector AI file format
3D rendering of each playhouse
(If you use Pantone colors) a palette showing the Pantone color codes and their corresponding/closest matching CMYK colors

Artworks submitted must be original work by the designer.
Winner would release all rights upon prize payment.

  Unfortunately yes, AI please. Conversion is a problem. The playhouses are large so we need to avoid visible pixels on edges. Unless your design is like Lego..

Hi All, some clarifications: (1) we like Horse ranch more than farm ranch; (2) the "accessories" described in the brief are intended to be separate from the playhouse body, for example, a mic for children singers to hold in their hands.

  About the RANCH: so far we have seen designs with horse, cattle, sheeps, hens, pigs. Among all these animals, we like horses the most; cattle and sheeps are fine too; and pigs are our least favorite. Seems like there are more role-play ideas with horses, e.g. cowboy, jockey, polo player, etc. Sincere apologies to pigs for the discrimination :P

Hi, basically you want a pattern to print in that 4 objects? and it need to be in a vector format or can be a pixel format if it have a really high definition (10000x10000)?

  Hi Millia, you are correct. The attached AI & PDF files have all dimensions, so you just have to make patterns to fill them up. As noted in the contest brief, please include 3D rendering to illustrate how the playhouses would look like. Thanks and good luck!
