I am looking for a new design that will be printed on the front and back of a china plate. The design will be colourful and offer positive quotes and fun words to encourage people to lose weight.

I have created a basic example design which I created myself to give you a rough idea of what we are trying to achieve.

Whilst the example is very basic, you can see it is a warm, welcoming colour range (pastel colours), and would be more focussed to the female market.

I am happy for the designer to be more creative with the fonts and styling of the phrases....for example you may wish to submit a design with curved writing.

“I have been with freelancer.com for 5 years and have posted many projects, but unfortunately this is the first negative experience I have had with a freelancer. The freelancer agreed to make changes to the final design upon receipt of payment. I paid in full, and the freelancer then told me he would not submit the design revisions to me. I made repeated attempts to contact them and every email has been ignored. I would certainly never work with this individual again, and would suggest others avoid. As I say it's unfortunately, because this is the first bad experience I've had in 5 years with the site. Poor communication, and does not deliver on his promise. I would avoid at all costs.”

We were hoping for a tape measure graphic to be shown like this around the circumference of the plate, but thus far we have not seen this style of tape measure in the design - http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/4018546/2/stock-photo-4018546-tape-measure.jpg

what we do NOT want, is for people to simply copy the images we showed in our example image and re-paste them into your own design, as you are not providing anything new. We want designers to be creative, use pastel colours, and for the plate to look professional....hopefully the final submissions will be good

Hi, all entries were rejected because although many of these designs are creative, we have still not seen one which we would consider using as our final design. There have been a handful of freelancers submitting very good work, which we appreciate, but as I say, there is still nothing we have seen which we have felt "yes, this is the one!"

No unfortunately the contest is coming to an end, and we don't have a winning design, so if it comes down to it, and we have to award a prize, then the prize will have to be shared by multiple freelancers whom we felt provided good creative work, hence the better submissions have been re-instated.

We are still hoping someone will submit something we could award the prize to outright before the deadline

  this is very creative.....but to be honest we didn\'t immediately know what the ring was meant to represent.....so if it was not obvious to us then it might not be obvious to others.....so not really for us....but creative, nonetheless

  Hi George....23 looks pretty, but consecutive rings is not really what we aare looking for, as it means there would be no images of healthy food to catch the eye.....we idieally want a mixture of phrases and images.

  Hi there, unfortunately this is not really what we are looking for. We want a variety of quotes and images on the plate, as this catches the eye and stands out. We are not really looking for the minimalist look.

Hi there, the logo can be redesigned if you wish. We are open to any creative suggestions. The fruit and vegetables do not necessarily have to be illustrations. Again, we are open to suggestions, but generally we want warm pastel colors for the overall design.

the logo \"the little plate co\" must remain the same or it can be also redesigned?

and, the images of the fruits and veggies, can they be illustrations, or do you have some specific style in mind?
