Contest Brief

Colors and visual / UX tuning of an seating application (No HTML / CSS / Coding required!). I’m using Uikit (www.getuikit.com) so the basic elements like buttons only need colouring but no other design.

Deliveries
- Colors for the page (menus, backgrounds, items, buttons…) according the color scheme in www.tablerrr.com (great artistic freedom is given)
- Zoom in / Zoom out / Fit to screen -buttons to the right bottom corner + their layout design
- Guest list of the left
- Visual design to highlight guests that are already seated (can’t drag them anymore), overlays or something else?
- When you start dragging guest in the canvas (already seated guest) the left guest list becomes a drop zone —> how to visually that (overlay?)
- Visual design for the drag handle itself (when you drag a guest from the list)
- Vector elements for the floorpan (not necessary made by you but you can pick a suitable set)
- Tables with seats (rectangular and round tables)
- How does a free seat look like and how does a reserved seat look like (needs to have the name of the guest)
- Seats / sofas / dance floor / pillars / plants / food table

I need to be able to convert these to SVG

Considerations:
*Should the canvas (the actual floor plan / seating) be really light or have colors?
*Avoid too complex vector graphics
*Vector graphics doesn’t need to be made by you —> You can just point me to a specific graphics in shutter stock or something (keep the price in mind however)
*Good ideas and change propositions are highly welcome!
* www.tablerrr.com is the current version but i'm rewriting it to use vector graphics etc...
*More work will follow if I’m happy ;)

the winner clearly copied elements from my designs thats the problem with freelancer to make it so if you pay 50cents to hide your entry they get to copy other peoples ideas and hide it.... atleast provide more feedback or reject our designs don't just leave us hanging...

hi,
I also made a entry for your web app, I spent a lot of time on your design but you announced the winner before dead line time of contest. I think this is non-ethical attitude, you should have to wait until the dead line is over.

  Hi, I think there were not that many hours left to the deadline and I had my schedule which wouldn't have allowed me to spend time on the tuning after the deadline.

I think there were a lot if similar designs because that's what it boils down to. There aren't that many ways of designing a layout since the basic stuff is usually the same (which is smart UX wise). If you check the competing services from the Internet you will find pretty similar designs as well.
