Contest Brief

Looking for ideas of how to improve the look of the house in the attached image.

You wouldn't know it from this image, but behind this very ordinary facade is a stunning 5 bedroom home with every possible modern amenity. The problem is the home’s appearance from the street. It has zero ‘street appeal’. It gives the impression from the front that the home is small, boxy, minimalist, sanitised and has no character.

The objective is to give this home ‘street appeal’. It needs character, detailing, a sense of style, an air of sophistication and a sense of presence.

There are no specific limits on this, but please take the following into account:

. Exterior colour - preference is for the house exterior to remain off-white (painted, rendered, plastered finish);
. Roof colour – will possibly look better in slate grey or similar;
. Garage door – will possibly look better converted to wood. The garage can also be converted into a room, so feel free to experiment with this;
. Veranda – the house may possibly look better with a return veranda;
. Driveway gravel – will possibly look better to contain the gravel to the width of the driveway only, and return the balance to grass;
. Fence & neighbours house – should be screened with trees/plantings (left side of photo).

The best makeover will win.

Hello again . I've changed the roof , from white stripes to SLATE GREY ROOF , and looks amazing, but I cannot "Upload" / "Submit" new photo .. :( The button has gone away

As you can see, I created the 90% of the EXTERIOR of the house ( only the POOL is missing) , including the land , in real 3D Models , and everything is at my disposal to change / delete / replace it with something different --- And I can deliver all my photos , at 1080p resolution in the quality I gave you now :) --- here in Freelancer, you can only see it in small size --- I'm waiting for your reply :)

Regarding the prize value - if we decide to acquire this property we'll commission some more detailed design work, obviously with a higher value - this is still conceptual, hence the modest budget.
