Contest Brief

As a gift to my wife, I want to create a chibi version of me and my wife. You are required to have some talent drawing manga or have access to enough manga characters that you can modify to resemble us. She is an arts teacher and I own about 10 cats, so a cat and some reference to her paintings would be also nice.

I typically wear a suit, so you can just keep me in a suit. I'm quite fat these days and I don't mind if you make a funny version of me with big eyes and a round face.

My wife is turkic and she tends to have upside down parentheses eyes when she's laughing. It's best if you depict her in her regular clothes. I'll post some face and body samples.

The chibi zip file has some samples. The guy in a suit and wind rose in hand is a good approximation. You can use that for me. Similarly you can use the bunch of cats straight away.

There is a cake decoration with a frame. If you think you can deliver, that's a good pose. Otherwise two figures in some relation to each other is fine.

I'm adding two pictures of my wife. Sideways with casual clothing. Her hair is not super healthy. During the wedding she had extra hair. You can use the one type of hair you like.

Goal: Two chibi characters kind of resembling me an my wife. Me in suit, my wife in casual clothes. Either make our faces resemble us or our clothes, or something. Add some details to her to show that she is a painter. A painting canvas in the background or maybe a brush in hand. It's best if you can bring us together in some pose. Preferred pose on kissing the other in the cheek. If not, just put the two of us together. In the back ground add one chibi cat or the bunch of cats visual I have added. If you think you have such a better idea than what I have described, please go ahead. I'm open.

Please let me know if you need other material from me.

I'm adding two pictures for the eyes. The first is the manga abstraction I have been talking about. The second is a joke about a soccer trainer. How we see him and how he sees us. We joke about it with my wife all the time.

Thank you for all of your submissions. Today is the last day. I'll give you all a feedback and possible ways to improve your picture. Then I'll have to decide on a winner. Sadly there is one price, but I'll try to get you a second and third prize as well. See if that suits you.

Hello! I am working on my piece and I was wondering if you have a picture of your wife in casual clothes from the side? It looks like her hair is tied back, or up in the first picture, but it's hard to see what style it's in in the back. Thank you~
