Contest Brief

ORAM - “You Are Safe Here” Poster.

Poster signaling “safe space” for highly vulnerable refugees. ORAM is planning to produce the second generation of its highly popular “You Are Safe Here” poster signaling safe space for the world’s most vulnerable refugees. The poster will contain an image as described below with the words “You Are Safe Here” in 18 languages (to be supplied by ORAM).

We will award up to two winners.

Please read and follow the instructions below very carefully. Designs which do not contain ALL of the elements below will not be considered.

Purpose & Function:
A visual cue in the form of a poster signaling “safe space” for vulnerable refugees including sexual & gender minorities (LGBT persons). The poster will hang in refugee offices to signal to these refugees that they are safe and protected, regardless of their identity, including their sexual orientation and gender identity. However, the poster must not be explicit in its display of the rainbow flag.

Our current highly popular poster achieves the goals above. We are seeking innovations on this theme.

The competition will stay open for 7 days.

Mandatory Elements
1. All colors of the rainbow flag in the order in which they appear here: http://www.sporcle.com/games/BGCollector/rainbow_flag
2. Constellation which conjures the flag but does not display the flag itself (see example of chairs in the current ORAM poster).
3. ORAM Logo (attached) prominent and fully legible.
4. URL www.oraminternational.org.
5. “You Are Safe Here” in 18 languages legibly integrated into the image (see attached image of current ORAM poster - text to be supplied by ORAM in Word format).
6. Must contain human figure(s).
7. Absolutely NO sexual signs, symbols or innuendos.
8. Engrossing colors and figures.
9. Evokes empathy.
10. Universally appealing.

Like mithusajjad, I am also hoping to receive the names of the languages or perhaps you could attach them in a file (such as a word document or a notepad document) written the way they're supposed to? Sorry for the inconvenience.

Oh! Okay! Thanks, much appreciation! I sadly only speak English - though I feel like I recognize a few of the languages I don't want to assume I know them then in the end have the wrong language. Sorry for being unable to speak your native tongue, I appreciate your help immensely.
