Contest Brief

Nice and easy this one, and 5 prizes of $10 up for grabs.

All I want you to do is to take the attached USA Matte png image and use that as an alpha/luma matte to create a 1920x1080 image. JPG is fine for the deliverable.

Just choose a design/image/illustration/photo for the background, and then choose a design/image/illustration/photo for the US map shape.

A couple of examples are attached just to give you an idea of what I'm looking for. I have no specific requirement for the content, just as long as it is visually impressive with a nice use of colours. You can go for images of people, food, nature, space, wildlife, text, word clouds, infographics, country flags, just colours on their own, illustrations etc.

You can leave Alaska and Hawaii off if you think the image looks better without them. Drop shadow is optional.

All images must be CC0, public domain, licensed for use, or created by yourself.

I appreciate $10 isn't anything to write home about, but I'm hoping this shouldn't involve too much time. I'm also looking for a variety of different images, so I'll be awarding this to the best five entries. They'll each get $10. One entrant can win more than once, I'm purely going on which entries are the most visually appealing.

  Yeah, it's going to be in a video, but each image will only be shown for less than a second. I have a few of my own, but just looking for a bit of variety... a fresh pair of eyes!
