Contest Brief

I have a need for a cartoon character of me. I have come up with a concept I call Water Coach.

The idea is that people make tests on their swimming pool water and then they need advice on what chemical to add to the water to correct or maintain it. Kind of like a prescription for your pool but the Doctor idea has been used forever.

My idea is a Water Analysis Coach that helps you learn and hopefully make your own decisions after a while – hence the coach idea. I had thought that we could just make up a character but I have been an expert in the pool industry for more than 40 years and people recognize me. So why not make the Water Analysis Coach me? The Water Analysis Coach's function is to analyze water test results and give advice while helping pool owners to learn what to do themselves.

I am not sure if clothing or background or accessories or what will get the idea across. First the coach needs to look like he is around a pool. Bathing suit, shorts, T-shirt, Hawaiian shirt, sandals, straw hat, not sure about a whistle, clip board, chalk board, test equipment, clip board with test results, water or a pool in the background, etc. Maybe a T-shirt with Water Analysis Coach or Coach Pool Water Analysis. Maybe a little nerdy, brainiac or professor?

Hope this helps you come up with something.

    I will wait until contest closes. I have rated all entries so far. A little more understanding and clarification. Pool owners will make tests on their water and input the test results into a Water Analysis App or online analysis program. The Water Analysis Coach will tell them that their pool water is OK or that some chemicals need to be added. Just like when you go to the Doctor. He checks you out, orders some lab tests and then says you are healthy or you need some medicine. Except I do NOT want a pool doctor. I want a Coach so they can learn to do it them selves. Thanks.

    This is a nice coach on a beach but the coach is supposed to be giving advice on testing results from swimming pool water. I am a chemist and I give advice on chemicals that need to be added to the pool water.
