I need some Graphic Design for skateboards

Original artwork that fits into the skateboard industry. Longboards and Skateboards. When printing the design we will replacing any white with the natural maple wood. Artwork should be able to fit 10" x 35" and/or 11" x 40" and/or 12"x 48". Good luck.

Sorry we have taken so long to get this contest properly specked. Since we are doing this late, we are going to keep it fairly open to ideas and concepts. If all goes well, we plan on running multiple contests, so stay tuned for more.

For this first contest, we are looking for something that looks like typical skateboard deck art. Think tattoo art, cartoon drawings, punk rock, 80’s colors, grunge and more. If it looks like a typical skateboard we will consider it. Skateboard themes normally run the gamut, but our company normally keeps things pretty clean and try not to offend anyone, so please keep the themes on the tame side (no drugs, curse words, etc.) These will be digitally printed, so there are no limitations on number of colors.

If you need more specifics please ask, we are happy to answer questions.

All artwork must be your own original work. We are uploading a pdf file for you to use as a template. Only fully layered ai or psd files created using our template will be accepted for the final. If you are designing in Photoshop, please make sure to design at 300 dpi.

Since we ran into some issues with some early entries, it is worth stating that any stolen artwork will be immediately disqualified.

  There are some great artist here SkateArt but it is buyer beware, be specific on what you are looking for ask for skulls or clowns or pirates,google to make sure it is not ripped, what is the best design layout preferred do you prefer vector ai or photoshop. It is still early in the contest more real designers will be in the door, Do you prefer colorful or black and white, ask for your company name to be added to design make the design specific to you and your company so better chance it will be origenal and exactly what you what, it will help you get the perfect design at a cheaper rate.   Ie lizards, Chinese dragons, the horse man, grunge, or graffiti ask for changes most designers here will do small changes in contests make sure the updates match original design style as every artist has a unique style, I am more stubborn I don't do them until after selected I don't like to work for free;) You may need to extend your contest to get the design you are after. Or hire me straight up I can draw ;)

Do you require them to be in adobe format? I do lots of drawings for tats, t-shirts and other stuff. I have three that are really cool that I haven't put on anything yet. I would love to see them on skate boards. That would be awesome. I'll post simple photos of them so you can see what I mean.
