I need a character designed for an upcoming mobile game.

This contest is initially to illustrate 2 frames of beaver character:

Frame 1 - Eyes open
Frame 2 - Same as frame 1, but with eyes closed (blinking)

Both frames must have the following:
- Beaver must be standing upright and smiling
- Does not need to be holding anything like wood etc.
- MUST BE cute and funny, like a disney character (also see attached file of characters I like "Good" and characters I don't "Bad"
- MUST NOT be copied from any existing stock or licensed images found on Google or any other sites
- MUST NOT be done in Photoshop, will require this as vector
- NOT 8-bit please

What's in it for you?

This is a game which has only started development. The first part is to create the character, but immediately afterwards, the winner will get the opportunity to create more frames of this character (sprites), in various positions etc, so a lot more money $$.
If we're happy with the design overall, we will also award more design work (such as stages, scenes, and other characters of the game)

What will win you the contest and award you ongoing work?

This is going to be a high quality game, so think high quality such as Angry Birds, Bad Piggies. No cheesy or bad graphics please!
Also make sure you design a character that you can then re-draw in various positions (jumping, blinking, falling, smiling, sad etc.)

Hi everyone! Thanks for the entries so far, there are so many great illustrations! I have started replying and giving feedback to the entries, but bare with me as I review them all. For those wondering, I just want to re-iterate, that this is for a game! So it must look polished and the character you draw must be loveable, funny and cute. Think about it this way - design a character that YOU would want to play with in a game as good as Angry Birds etc.
