IT Company Needs a New Name
- Status: Closed
- Prize: $50
- Entries Received: 131
- Winner: DigiMonkey
Contest Brief
We are a small IT company with a terrible name. Wide open to any ideas, preferably shorter and without any words such as solutions, technology, etc. Words we've come up with so far include: Gravity, Gravitas, Infinite, Filament, Big Red Kite, Blue Cups. If possible, we're trying to get the letters IT in the name somewhere (big red kITe). Obviously our preference is something that has a url available, but that isn't a deal breaker just yet.

People, every name possible has been listed at least two times. Now this buyer has hundreds of business names with logos to sale! I am watching to see if he/she selects a winner or lets it run out of time and closes. EVEN THOUGH IT IS GUARANTEED.... it can still close with no one winning.

I have seen this before...yhe contest holder may be gathering business names and selling them along with a logo. Why else would he want to collect hundreds and hundreds of names plus free logos????

IS this a logo contest? Why do you give us your titles if you want this contest to be a name contest? Seems deceitful.

Still digging it. Some more names we've been working on: Iron Triangle, Sandstar, Zita, Pivit, Swivel. I know this is more guidance than feedback, but I certainly hope it helps. Thanks already everyone for so many great ideas thus far.

#82 added also. Some pretty random ones in there to go with new names you've been coming up with.

Several of these ideas are excellent, but I don't think we've hit the nail on the head just yet. We've also been batting around some made up words to keep it lively. For example Bukoo (pronounced boo-koo) and Liabe (pronounced lee-ah-bay). Thanks already everyone.
