I would like a logo designed for my business.
The business will provide an app and website service in England whereby students (university students) will be linked to employers around Bristol City to complete odd jobs such as mowing the lawn (it will later be expanded into other Cities so the theme must not be restricted to Bristol University).
The service will be called 'Work Tank'. It is a similar concept to Uber, Freelancer, Airbnb and Deliveroo so perhaps use these logos for ideas. The concept is targeted at students and employers around Bristol as both will be using the app, it must therefore be clean and professional but open to ideas.
My initial idea was the letter W on top, with the words 'Work Tank' just below (similar to Uber). If you are able to incorporate a student/employer handshake or something subtle and unique in the design, go for it. I am no designer so feel free to come up with your own ideas.
UPDATED INFO 2: I am liking the colours maroon combined with black/grey/tan (any colour that will compliment maroon and remain easy to see/read). Also a soft square around the above W or WT is preferable. The incorporation of a handshake is working well too from some of the fantastic designs I have seen so far.
I would also like an app icon designed separate to the logo (perhaps the letters WT, or just W). If any of this is unclear feel free to ask for more information.
