I need it to be urgent,will select the winner with in a day.
There is a need for development of a logo for a physics dictionary educational software which is distributed via mobile app stores.

* It is a physics dictionary series (having several volumes), available in Google Play Store. The main web page for our applications is as follows: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=pub:Kolektif%20Information%20Technologies

* A draft concept is attached. Other, inspiring concepts are welcome :)
it is open to your creativeness. You can change anything (including the perspective) in the design.

* Please see the attached concept concepts . We want to emphasize the spectrum of light and the name of our application, of course. The gray/yellow base in the middle of the scene is a dictionary. A light beam coming from back/downwards is refracted by the dictionary and the spectrum is created. The text on the drawing shows the name of our application, which is PHYDICS (Physics Dictionaries). It would be great if we could have some 3D effects (the spectrum may go up like a hologram). Besides, the letters may be outlined and touch the spectrum.

* We need as many resolutions as possible (from 16x16 or 24x24 to wherever possible)

* Since the target users are children and young people, the logo must be a little bit cheerful

Please see Entry #53 . I've moved the rainbow closer to the book, changed the perspective on the font and tried a few different color gradients. (Personally I like the first one best).
