Greetings!

I am launching what is referred to as an Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) Flight School in the Seattle, WA area. Specifically, a UPRT school such as this trains EXISTING pilots to "recover" from unusual attitude situations in airplanes, such as when an airplane hits severe wake turbulence and rolls upside down. (Yes, the sort of stuff that terrifies passengers). Most pilots have NEVER been inverted in an airplane, and panic; making the situation worse. UPRT training, by contrast, prepares pilots to handle an emergency in which the plane is "out of control" and they need to regain control.

Our clients are existing pilots who are seeking to refine their skills for the safety of themselves and their passengers. Those client pilots may be airline pilots, flight instructors, private pilots or business jet operators, for example. As there is no FAA requirement for UPRT training, a client pilot seeking this training is doing so because they want to- not because they have to.

The average copilot client customer will pay somewhere between $750-$2500 for the training experience, which may last a couple hours, to a full weekend. As it is an investment of their time and money in the name of safety, a logo that connotes professionalism, safety, and can easily be turned into a patch (think a patch on a pilot jacket) woudl be ideal.

The aircraft we are using for the training (an "American Champion 7KCAB Citabria" [Google it]) is specially designed to withstand the G-forces most airplanes are not, and our aircraft happens to be blue, white and silver. Hence, it would also be helpful if the logo incorporated those colors (Blue, white and silver) in some way.

Lastly, the logo should (of course) be able to be produced in a two color (black and white version).
