Contest Brief
Need innovative, very-cool looking digital art and also a logo for a new "social-good" robotic technology development international competition startup team called "La Vida Robots".
A description and insight to goals and objective for this entity are on the "about" page at www.lavidarobots.org. Team members are all from Phoenix, Arizona area.
There should be enough information posted on this existing website to inspire the eventual winner of this contest. If not, please post questions for clarification.
Please use custom solutions only...nothing can be copied from other web sites or or web links from around the world...and google image search will be used to verify this.
The intent of this contest is two-fold ->
1. Create a custom, distinctive logo that fits on the left portion on one side of a business card (along with name, title, and web address)... and the winning logo will also in the located in upper left portion of the website landing page (www.lavidarobots.org)
2. Create custom digital-art for the backside of a two-sided color business card... and also the same digital-art will be used for team marketing banner and on tee-shirts. For this digital-art its preferred to have a theme of having multiple robots on the "La Vida Robots" words...many robots should be standing, sitting, running, climbing, reaching, sliding, flying, and other gestures or motion. Include lots of robots please. The winner must be very creative for this digital art. The back side of the business card and the banner will contain this digital art and the web site address "www.lavidarobots.org".
Both the new logo and the digital art will be scored equally in determining the eventual contest winner.

4/19/2015 Update: Thank you for all the entries to date. The contest amount has been doubled to $110 instead of $55. There are two key portions of this contest better described in the Brief. 1) Digital Art for the back side of a two-sided business card and a marketing banner and 2) a team logo to be used on the main side of a business card and also on the website landing page. Please post questions if something needs to be better clarified.

thank you everyone for all the ideas so far. I'm liking the theme of having multiple robots on the words...standing, sitting, climbing, reaching, sliding, flying, and other gestures, motion...hopefully this helps. please get creative with this as I think it's extremely cool and targets diversity of group team members quite nicely. average age of team members is mid-20s and equally male, female...team size is ideally about fifty so I'm hopeful the winning logo puts everyone of same page and is motivational!!

Keep in mind this is a professional robotics team and average age of team members will be about mid 20's.
So ideally the logo should be quite appealing to that age group, not necessarily so much to teenagers or even younger.- 11 years ago

I'd say the Logo could inspire FUN. Its important to me that members of the team that are contributing have fun every day. Perhaps looking "FUNNY" as in cartoonish is not so preferred since average age group of this team in is 20's and science oriented. The robotic technology we develop will help or assist solving quite serious "social challenges" (disaster assistance, those with disabilities, rehabilitation assistance, etc).

Also, to add my targeted age group comment, there will be a near equal number of males and females on the team so keep that in mind also. And everyone will be quite science oriented.
