We need a logo designed for a new web service called 'The Edge'. This is a system that will combine social networking with news. It features user written content as well as curated external content. We need a clean, simple looking, bright and eye catching logo created, preferably that has both a logo symbol and text so that the symbol can be used in things like app icons. The site is quite functional but minimalist looking. Think along the lines of the new Windows 8 interface. We need a logo that captures our design ethic. The more file formats you can give us it in, the better. Be imaginative we really really like what you do, there will be an opportunity for more work in the very near future.

PS. We love the 'Oswald' font. That kind of style is very appealing to us....

Just to clarify, the site itself could almost be described as quite minimalist in it's design. There's no unnecessary clutter. That's the sort of thing we're looking for in a logo. Think the Windows 8 interface and you'll know to what degree of minimalism I'm talking

  I like it but it's maybe a little too complicated looking. The site is very minimalist in it's design. Think the 'Metro Interface' on Windows 8 and you'll get the degree of minimalism I'm talking
