NOTE: While I will consider variations of the attachment, I am looking for something different and creative, and entirely different concept, not just a clone variation.

I have just run a contest for a logo for A Cut Above Constructions (ACAC) but unfortunately was not able to find a design that will be used. I am running this second contest in order to give everyone an opportunity to come up with new ideas based on the additional info below:

1. The logo should make prominent use of the acronym ACAC.
2. The logo should be mostly text or abstract graphic based - NO houses, skyscraper, tools etc.
3. The text used should be capitalised.
4. From the first contest I just ran the closest entry to what we were after is attached and was selected as the winner, but it will not be used. It was favoured because of its use of the acronym 'ACAC' and its clean minimal design.
5. I'm after something relatively minimal, clean lines.
6. Colour palette should be dark grey with a burnt orange as a highlight colour, but if you think another colour combo would work feel free to include a variant! Not entirely opposed to colour variation.

PLEASE GET CREATIVE - i'll be looking for creative options! Keep it stylish and simple though.

  Hey Lindsay - yes indeed, the new logo shouldn't use any of the elements of the logo on the website. We would like something that prominently uses the acronym ACAC in some way along with the business name (capitalised) in a more traditional construction style, such as can be seen in the attachment. But please don't do a clone of the attachment - there is a reason we aren't using it from the contest I just finalised, it's the right style but not what we want. Hope that helps.
