Chamber Orchestra KREMLIN (www.KremlinOnTour.com) is changing its name to Russian String Orchestra. The orchestra was founded 24 years ago and has a good following internationally.

There are three ways in approaching the task of creating a new logo, each with its own merits and each will be considered:

1 -- new logo will incorporate icon used in the current logo (attached), providing instant recognition among public, presenters and media.

2 -- the icon will be redrawn, giving it a fresh, updated look, yet retaining unmistakable connection to the current, well familiar icon.

3 -- a totally new logo will be created. Again, a combination of some graphic symbol (icon) and text is expected.

It would be a welcome bonus to be able to use just the initials (RSO) as a variant.

OK to use stock font(s), customizing some letters could be a plus

Logo should work as b/w as well as grayscale or with optional color(s).

As in the current logo, the words: "Misha Rachlevsky, Music Director" (or split into two lines, without the comma) are integral part of the logo.

The temporary tag with words "Formerly known as Chamber Orchestra Kremlin" should be a part of the new logo, yet with an option of leaving it out.

The orchestra will also keep its current mascot (attached)

The designer with the winner entry has it's acc made this month and is from Rusia. So I supose it is a second acc from the contest holder, to take the money back. This is not okay, just because the contest holder is someone who don't even know what she want and made fools out of us designers. I mean, we investigated a lot of effort in the designs. So who the fuck you think you are? I am sick of such idiots of contest holders!
