Contest Brief

I am in the process of creating a Blog called "the stopping place". The long term is to create an online community where people will visit the blog/website(still to be developed).
the stopping place will have 3 communities. Firstly, quotes, so that people can read a quote, stop and reflect on what it means.
Secondly, photographs, so that people can see a photograph, stop and enjoy and reflect on the photograph.
Thirdly, human stories, similar to Humans of New York, so that people can stop, read the story and reflect on what they may be able to learn from the story.

Initially, I am looking for a logo to support this thought.

I have received many suggested logos. Some of which are good.
In doing the logo it is not a STOPPING place in that the STOP is yelling at everyone. It is a soft "stop" where people will stop and reflect, think and benefit from their considerations. A simple example I can think of the help is someone or a couple of people, sitting looking out a view of some description, think and reflecting. That the thought that the logo should present.

the stopping place is not a STOPPING place. It is not a stop yelling at us. It is an invitation to "stop" (a soft stop) and reflect, think and consider and gain the benefits of stopping. I have given an updated and broader description in the contest details.
