We are an innovative safety company providing smart but simple software solutions for todays business needs.
we require a logo solution for all of our branding needs: Company logo, Letter head, Business cards etc.
our business name is "Smart Safety Solutions" and our vision is to provide innovative, simple, smart safety solutions for todays business needs.
I have attached a file with a design that we liked but the colours weren't right for us. The design doesn't necessarily need to be this but it will give you some indication of the type of thing that I find appealing and the direction that I wish for the design to take.

For clarification we are a company that provides advice, documentation (forms, reports, presentations, training etc.), and systems (web based and document based) for others wanting Health and Safety support. Many of our services are document and web based.
The winner will be asked to provide:
- a logo
- a letterhead / footer for our documents
- a background for presentation or a web page
- a presentation front page for reports
- a favicon
- etc.
If we like your concept we will ask your to provide mock ups for these helps us visualise the end product.

The file we attached is one we did ourselves, we like it because it has stylised S's and resembles a Koru form (a New Zealand fern, we are New Zealand based), but feel there is something better out there. We are looking for your expertise in graphics so please don't submit the same design in a different colour. We could do this ourselves. We will reject any such logo without comment.

In relation to colours, yellow doesn't appear to work unless it has a different colour border, and we prefer not to have a light blue.
When thinking about the logo keep health and safety in mind, anything that looks like a flame is probably not appropriate and anything too feminine is not going to suit the industries that we work with (manufacturing, transport, heavy industry, forestry etc)

Please have all submissions submitted by 5pm Wednesday 24th of June NZT. We will shortlist the entree's on Thursday 25th of June and request these people submit specific mock-ups, then from there the prize will be decided on and given out on Friday 26th June. we will contact the winner directly and request High resolution mock-ups plus any other additional information we need.

Entries have now closed. Other than the people we have requested for addional information for modifcation to there existing work no more new entries will be accpeted from this time. Thankyou for all of the effort people have made, we have recived over 400 entries and have a lot of work to do shortlisting.
