  If it works better to remove that false ridge over the garage door that is OK. It is one plain all the way up to the 'saltbox' roof.

  One last comment - if you google 'modern farmhouse' there are many to look at. The problem is my roofline is a little weird.

  Sokic - very creative trellis/porch ideas! I like the front door landing enlarged too. Not very modern farmhouse and #12 is too dark with too much wood siding (maintenance!).

     Hello, you can comment it privatly as you did before, plus it would be nice if you try to "seal" the contest so the freelancer have a very specific idea and design for your project.

  Girceava - I like the plaster siding on garage wall, but the whole house is way too dark. The triangular porch is very creative but not my style at all (remember, modern farmhouse, not modern).

  Kalyn - no shade on front door. Also, not sure about those wood posts on either side of door or the window that is wider than the door. The garage doesn't seem very 'modern farmhouse', more like just farmhouse. I like how you pulled the landing forward, but it would be nice if stairs connected to porch, maybe with a second landing.

  Acep - met shade requirements but the porch is very small. Like how the front door landing is larger and could even spread the stairs into two groups, the lower landing area could be the trellis area.

  Carlos - nice trellis and seating area but it should be raised. Also, no door shade, too dark, sidings/stone/wooddoors make it a little busy a little busy.

  Alvin - creative idea for pergola but no porch or window shade. Also, very cluttered looking front with all the sidings, square and triangular windows, etc.

  Boya - nice modern farmhouse look, but no front porch and prefer not to have the lack of privacy of an all-glass front door . Not sure about the garage doors...

  Feedback! Sorry - didn't realize I could do this.Some very creative designs, like Alvin #6 , but only Boya's is really in the style of 'modern farmhouse'. However those lack a front porch.
