Contest Brief

We are currently redesigning our "Deadly Force" publication and we need a new COVER. This contest is for the COVER ONLY. All the new pages are already under development. A few of the new pages are attached for reference.

The new title of the publication is “The Texas Gun Owner’s Guide: The Law Of Deadly Force And Beyond”. Potential elements to use would be Texas related graphics, guns, bullets, attractive modest women (25 - 40 years of age) our logo etc. Should have a somewhat professional look and feel. We want this publication to look authoritative and reputable.

Please use either vector design or 300dpi raster design, so either Photoshop, Illustrator or Indesign. This publication will be distributed digitally and via print and will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people over the next several years.

Contest set to run for 15 days but we are hoping to have a winner by next Friday (July 11th).

All designs have been rated.

4 star designs at this point are the concepts we think would work for our cover.

3 star designs are good designs, but aren't quite the feed we are looking for. We will start rejecting them today if we don't think there is a way to improve the design to make it work for our vision. A few of the newer 3 star designs still need to be reviewed by the owner.

2 and 1 star designs will be rejected today as well. Please feel free to submit new concepts.
