Contest Brief

So, we're designing a new product line and need a character, logo and graphic for our bottles.

Here's a casual description of our requirements...

The brand is called "Johnny Tropics", and the theme is tropical flavours.

Our mascot of course is Johnny, and he's a cartoon parrot - a blue and yellow Macaw to be exact.

We're looking for a logo of Johnny, almost anthropomorphic, chilling in a hammock between two palm trees, lazily with a panama hat over his face. In the background we'd like some waves, some sunshine, and lots of colour. Under the hammock, in the sand, some tropical fruit (Pineapple, mango, passion fruit, kiwi, coconuts, limes, bananas, etc.).

We imagine the character to be a pretty laid-back kind of guy (parrot) - think as though Charlie Sheen was voicing a parrot for a kids movie. Lots of bright colours are required as well as detail.

We'd also like a couple images we can use as promo material. Maybe Johnny winking and giving a thumbs-up (feathers-up). A general headshot, and some kind of thumbnail style silhouette logo we can use on our website, more like an easy to draw symbol we can tag anywhere. Finally, the title "Johnny Tropics" should be it's own, colorful font that we can use for promo purposes and on the bottles as well.

We require the image to be in vector format and will choose the best.
