Contest Brief

Hello everybody! A new challenging HAND drawing contest. Please check attached 2 pictures ( for the same person).

==> Use your creativity and imagination to produce a sketch for that person BASED ON those 2 pictures. Do not mimic the position or facial features in the 2 photos. All I am asking is " How could she look in different photo" based on your understanding of her facial characteristics.

The winner in this contest is not who will draw the most accurate sketch like previous contests, BUT the one who will be able to use the 2 attached photos to generate a different third photo ( Only face needed-- You don't have to draw the entire body.

All entries that uses any kind of software will be REJECTED.

Update1: There is NO correct or wrong entry. However, you need to be realistic! The girl is beautiful, so If you give me sketch for an UGLY girl you will be at competitive DISADVANTAGE.

Update2: Submitting entries rules: 1) place your paper on table or stand, put a pencil on the paper, then take a photo with your phone and upload it here.

A winner should be chosen even though not all my criteria have been met. In that case, selection will be based solely on beauty of the sketch. I'm so sorry, but your drawing this time is not what I was expecting from you compared to your previous work.

  Yes I definetly agree mine wasn't as good as it could have been. I did't have time or intrest to polish it this time. But that wasn't my point. It was that why bother giving such instructions if you don't care about them at all? But your contest, your rules i guess.

I don't want to be a lousy looser but I do have need to protest a bit now. Opinions are opinions and you can like what you want but if the instructions are that clear you should stick to them when choosing the winner. You asked for imagination, NOT to mimic the position of facial featires in the 2 photos and to create a new photo. The winner is obviously just a mirror of the reference photo. Anyone can see that. I checked some of the other contestants profiles and as there are some serious talents here this whole contest really seems like a joke now. Winner work is beautiful and well done otherwise and congrats to Richard anyway.

  HI. Are you able to provide clearer photo? I guess if you submit with better camera the photo will be much more beautiful. Or you can simply scan.
