Contest Brief

Hi everyone.

I need a logo created for a book company that specialises in book design and prepress. The company is called "FORMATO".

The logo needs to be simple and crisp so that it can be distributed on print, digital media, black and white copies, etc. and it must retain the quality of the graphic in all these situations. (Logo cannot lose detail when it is scanned or printed black and white.) I need it in Adobe Illustrator File.

I'm open to your ideas, BUT PLEASE, DON'T USE BOOK ILLUSTRATIONS ON THE LOGO.

I do also insist that the logo not be too complex so that reproduction of the logo on media doesn't look clumsy.
