Hello designers!

We would like to redesign our Domain Barossa wine label, from the Barossa Valley, Australia.

I will attach the files for the original label so you can use it to reference, although we would like to make the label 11cm high x 7cm wide approx.

We are only interested in a redesign of the main label .... DOMAIN BAROSSA 2014 BLACK TONGUE SHIRAZ BAROSSA VALLEY 750mL is all it needs to say!

We are looking for a cool new font, maybe a change of layout, playing with the scale of the font, or the blocking of colour on the label. We imagine that the red, black and white colour scheme will remain, although if you come up with something really great we could reconsider.

Hi edwinabulfrage, happy for you that you found a design you love. Whilst some of us designers get emotionally attached to the designs we submit, it can be heart wrenching to see that our design didnt get the cut after receiving so much praise.

Would you be able to enlighten us on the reasons why you chose the winner?
I agree it is a great design, and well deserving. Did the decision rest on the fact that the label was applied to fake mockup of a bottle rather than a flat label? Or was it purely the design? I am mostly curious because I would one day like to win a contest on Freelancer.com and every piece of advice helps.

  Hi BitDESIGN, sorry for some reason freelancer will not let me respond per image....so I will respond here! We are after something even more drastic than you are proposing. I have attached another image to the brief that you can refer to. I like the idea of changing the label to be upright, so thats great, but we would like something more bold, with thicker font and more colour blocking. Check out the font reference image and you will know what I mean. Thanks so much
